Winsor Kinkade is an artist and community liberation mental health clinician in occupied Ramaytush Ohlone lands, also known as San Francisco, California.
Winsor’s art aims to portray the world in a non-curated way while honoring the intrinsic beauty within it. Winsor works with varying mediums, including oil and acrylic paint, ink, and graphite.
Art reflects life. Art tells stories, exercises honest communication, and creates both an internal and external effect. Art brings freedom to places where there is a lack of social inequity and creates a culture of creativity. Art offers solidarity and growth. Art is a powerful form of protest. Art allows us to weave tight-knit and communal resistance and practice collective care. These are the goals of Winsor’s artistic practice.
